Oh whata feelin......Toyota

Walking through the streets of Brandon's hood after midnight....ya, just not the same as New York. We weren't nippling (correction: NIBBLING) on pizza by the slice either, we were just trying to make it back.....alive!!!!!!

Well I had a "different" kind of weekend. Not "different" bad, "different" good. Let me share with you some of my experiences. Well Friday night, i was driving in my car, headed west. I was being blinded by this strange western glow. Not sure what it was, I swerved the car to the side of the road to gain some composure. For a brief moment, I wondered "is this it, the end of the world! Is this the apocalypse, armageddon?" Well after thinking about it, I realized that this light in the west was merely a beautiful Manitoba SUNSET. My goodness, how long had it been since I have been out in the evening to see the sunset. Too long I guess. I got back on the road and carried on to my destination.

Another freakish event...I was in Tim Horton's after midnight on a Saturday night!!! You bet, I was up past midnight and thanks to "Tom Collins" and "Tim Horton", I was even awake and still going strong. Yippie!

After it was all said and done, and my little excursion of "single hood" and "freedom" was up, I was good and ready to go back to the norm. Being a mother. I missed the little hoodlum very much and could hardly wait to see his little smilin face. And that it was. Smilin away until the wee hours of the evening, perky as a lark in spring, spry as a barn yard chicken. That was my ray of sunshine, my little son set, and I can enjoy that son set every single night.

Just remember...the grass maybe greener on the other side, but I bet the water bill his higher!!!

By the way, Sawyer was more impressed with this than it appears.

Soooo, what exactly's involved in 'nippling' on pizza by the slice? Just curious if this is what I'm in for on our NY trip.

There are alot of fun things in this world but the most rewarding has still got to be the love of a child. Love your blog. It made me feel warm and fuzzy.

I meant 'nibbling', honest. Although, temperatures were a little on that side that night.
